Develop a year-long programme with Arts-in-Mind
Towner is seeking a visual artist to work on a year-long programme with members of Arts-in-Mind, a group of adults living with mental health conditions, who have been meeting weekly at Towner (some for up to 12 years) to make artwork and support their health and wellbeing.

Trustee vacancies
Towner is seeking to appoint up to 2 new trustees. You will be part of a team of 12 Trustees who support Joe Hill, Director, and the Executive Team in shaping Towner’s strategic direction. Following its award as an Art Fund Museum of the Year 2020 winner, Towner is poised for a period of growth over the next 10 years with exciting and ambitious plans to develop a second site, alongside growing the programme at its Eastbourne gallery, to increase visitors and deliver greater outcomes for Eastbourne communities, particularly for those most disadvantaged and underrepresented in art and cultural participation, and to increase financial sustainability.
We wish to strengthen and diversify our board by extending representation among trustees from underrepresented groups, including those who experience racism, disability, or who are from a lower socio-economic background. A diverse board representing a range of voices will help ensure that the board brings insight and experience from a range of voices. The two new trustees, one of whom has lived experience of disability (including D/deaf, neurodiversity) will help us deliver our organisational priorities.
