[SOLD OUT]
Join Emma Mason for this illuminating talk on her close friendship with printmaker Robert Tavener. After meeting him in early 2000’s the resulting conversations about their shared love of printmaking led to the opening of the Emma Mason Gallery, which in addition to keeping the Tavener archive specialises in the work of British printmakers from 1940s onwards. Emma will be showing select images from the archive and exploring the influences of artists such as Ravilious, Bawden and Minton on Tavener’s work.
This event has been programmed to run alongside Towner Print Fair.
